Rotating arch breaker

      The rotary arch breaker is a mechanical device specifically designed to solve the problem of material arching and bridging in silos, which leads to poor material discharge. It consists of a drive device, a rotating mechanism, a scraper mechanism, and a housing. The motor drives the reducer, which in turn drives the rotating mechanism. The rotating mechanism drives the scraper (or scraping blade, arch-breaking shaft) to perform low-speed circular motion along the inner wall of the silo (especially near the conical part or outlet). When the material forms an arch or bridge due to friction, adhesion, or particle characteristics, causing blockage, the rotating scraper/scraping blade/arch-breaking shaft forcefully cuts into and stirs the material, breaking the support and adhesive forces between the particles, directly crushing the agglomerates or breaking the arch structure. The crushed material regains fluidity under the action of gravity, enabling smooth material discharge. It is widely used in industries such as chemical, grain, mining, and building materials.

The arch-breaking device can comprehensively address the following situations: arched bridging at the outlet of the silo, formation of a hollow in the silo, surrounding areas not discharging material, and material adhering to the walls around the silo;

It is primarily applied to materials that are prone to bridging and walling during feeding, such as silica, calcium carbide, titanium chloride, carbon, toner, ink, diatomaceous earth, glass fiber, fiber, paper scraps, wood chips, waste plastic fragments, dyes, pigments, coatings, tea residue, ash, dehydrated food, activated carbon, oil residue, dust, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, and citric acid;
